Communication interface: Enabling effortless communication on MoveInSync!

Product Overview


Communication interface mainly helps to communicate and provide updates to the user through notifications where it includes push notification and In-App pop up notification features. It has a lot more filter options where users can modify, remove or add multiple filters if desired. The direct impact of this feature is on visibility and timely reminders.



Communication Interface : Push notification Feature



Use of feature :

 

This feature helps in making the user alert of latest updates and attracts at certain touch points. Here only site admin can have access to send the message. Following are the ways to reach and create the notification.


Path: ETS->Settings->communication interface




User journey 1.0 Select the notification tab in communication type screen

  • Name of the tab - Push Notification.

  • Click on the tab to open the create notification interface.

User journey 2.0 : Provide input boxes to fill title and text.

  • An input box is provided to fill the title. It is mandatory to fill these input boxes before sending the notification.
  • Unless there is a text in these input boxes, keep the “Send” button disabled.
  • When both the input boxes are filled then “Send” button gets enabled 
  • Text limits are provided for each input box in which the user cannot fill if the character limit exceeds

    Title - 65 Characters. 
    Text - 240 Characters.


User journey 3.0 : Provide filters.

  • By default, all is selected in all the filters except date, shift and shift selection.
  • The following filters are provided.

        a) Data & shift 
        b) Gender, Job Title, Team,Office, Nodal Point
  • In order to select a shift, a date has to be selected before it.

  • The shift options e.g. All, All Logins, All Logouts are provided.

  • All Logins and All Logouts can be further expanded to view shifts. 



User journey 4.0 : Show count of users upon clicking on "Apply filters"

  • Show total active users who are eligible for push notifications upon clicking on apply filters.
  • Show the segmented employees based on the filters applied.



User journey 5.0:  Shows a confirmation dialog on send, with Confirm and Cancel 

  1. Are you sure you want to send this notification to the chosen <num> employees?

  2. Click Confirm → Perform the operation → Alert success message → Navigate to the first page after 5 seconds.

Communication Interface: In-App Pop-Up Feature


Use of Feature:


This feature mainly helps in communication and assists users with what they are looking for within the app. Here site admin can send In-app notifications through applying filters or by bulk upload. Following are the steps to use the feature.



Process Flow 


Step 1 : Communication Type

 

Follow the below path to approach the screen :-


ETS->Settings->communication interface


  • After reaching the communication interface page , select the In-app Pop up and click next to create the notification 

  • Here only site admin can access the page and send notifications




Step 2 : Create Notification


  • First, Choose the pop up size according to the need 

  • Next to it , there is an option to upload the image with less than 2MB size which is an optional

  • Add the content in the input box where it is mandatory to fill all the boxes else the user can’t proceed to the next step

  • Word limit has been given to each box such as for Pop up title (word limit 65), Pop up content (word limit 240), Button text (word limit 25)

  • Choose if the user response to be captured or not and proceed to next










Step 3 :  Send Notification


  • Here plenty of options have been given in the filter section to send the notification according to the user need






  • Date has to be selected on which particular date the notification has to be delivered 

  • Then after select the shift time if the notification has to be sent in particular shift timings else can select all shifts if required

  • Mark the gender box - Male/Female

  • Choose the Job title for one or more  if necessary

  • Next to it, select the team to whom the message has to be sent. It also has the option to choose multiple teams

  • Choose the office for one or more locations if necessary

  • Select the nodal point for one or above where it delivers the message to the employees who opted at that particular location

  • Click on apply filters after choosing all the above options if not the send button will remain disabled






  • After selecting the send the button, Confirmation dialog displays on screen to send with cancel and confirm as buttons






  • On clicking confirm , the user will receive In-app pop up in their mobile app as shown below





Manual Upload :


  • There is an option called CSV upload, where the user can enter employee details manually and send the notification








  • In order to upload, first download the sample CSV displayed on the screen






  • After downloading the CSV file, fill up the employee Id details in the sheet




  • Drop the file in the upload CSV file option shown below


 




  • Soon after successful uploading, click the send button then a confirmation dialog displays on the screen whether to confirm or cancel



 

  • On clicking confirm, the user will receive the notification




Report and Analytics 


  • Report sheets will be captured and stored in the business analytics report page only if the “Capture User Response” is enabled 

  • This particular option is only available in In-App pop up notification





Communication Interface : Banner Feature


Use of Feature:


This feature mainly helps in communication and assists users with what they are looking for within the app. Here admin team can set up a banner on the app to convey any messages or event information.



Process Flow 


Step 1 : Communication Type

 

Follow the below path to approach the screen :-


ETS->Settings->communication interface


Step-1: Select banner > Next

  • After reaching the communication interface page, select the Banner and click next to upload the image.

  • Here only the admin team can access the page


Step-2: Upload banner > Next

Image configuration:

Accepted file format: PNG

Maximum file size: 1MB

Banner Resolution: 328x80px 



Step-3: Set time > Send
