Feature Description - Driver Duty Hours Feature is present in the system to provide the transport managers an ability to restrict overworking of drivers.

If the certain property is configured to 600 (i.e. 600 minutes or 10 hours).  The system calculates that the driver should have 14 hours of rest (since 24 hours - 10 hours = 14 hours).

When assigning a driver to a new trip, the system checks if they have received the required rest.

Working Mechanism:

Imagine you are scheduling a trip for a driver at 7:00 AM tomorrow. The system will look at the driver's trips from 7:00 AM today (24 hours before) and check if they had a continuous 14-hour rest period within that time frame.

In the diagram, you can see that within the last 24 hours before the next planned trip, the driver completed a trip from before 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM today. After that, the driver had a 14-hour break from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Following this rest period, the driver took another trip from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

Since the driver had a continuous 14-hour rest, the system will approve allocating another trip to the driver at 7:00 AM tomorrow.

If sufficient rest is not given to the driver, then we observe the below warning for trip allocation.
