How to track vehicle using Fixed Device (GPS device)

In MoveInSync (MIS) web application, a user can only see fixed device data for which:

  • The cab is defined in the MIS (Manage Cabs)
  • The fixed device is associated with the cab in the MIS (Manage Fixed Device)
  • The fixed device is communicating with MIS


The Location data received from the fixed device will only be used to show the cab's location on a map within a specified time frame. This data will not be used for any of the following scenarios –

  • No Trip/Duty information will be associated with this data
  • No Employee Sign-in/Sign-off information will be based on this data
  • We will not use this data to calculate distances on MIS


The  fixed device location data can be accessed for a cab on MIS in following scenarios – 

  • A user can search a cab and specify the date-time range for which they want to know the cab's location


  • NOTE:


    Map will show the trace of the cab’s fixed device location within a specified time range (track only for 1 hour range).

    If anyone select range more than an hour error pop-up will reflect (refer below figure)

    ii.         No information of the duty or the trips done during this duration will be shown here




    Live Tracking

    Toggle between Fixed (for fixed GPS) and Mobile (for in-cab device GPS) to see tracking from each device
