How to check and provide RCA if Auto sign-off did not happen? (Aerial distance, GPS loss, Inactive device)
To check if distance is the reason for auto-sign off mis-functionality:
Check the device location under the health logs for time at the planned trip end time or the time on which the customer is claiming that the vehicle reached the office by clicking on the check box for the respective/highlighted time and copy the “GPSLocation-Geocordinate” as shown in below screenshot:
Cross-check the aerial distance of the location in health logs with the office location by applying measure distance on google maps.
To check if GPS loss is the reason for auto-sign off mis-functionality:
GPS loss can be verified in two ways:
One is through “tracking page (view route)” and the second one is through “device health logs”
1. GPS loss identification through tracking page: Check under the “view route” option if the device was facing GPS loss. How to identify GPS loss under View Route?
Please follow below steps:
Search trip ID-Press enter and click on “View Route”.
Switch on the “Speed” toggle button to highlight GPS loss on Map in “Black line”
2. GPS loss identification through device health logs:
Click on “Device Health” (this can be found under “View Route” and “Tripsheet” view when we search the trip on the landing page.
Under the Health logs click on the check box for the respective time as per shared instances by the customer. Once Event details are opened kindly check if “IsGPSOn” is captured as True or False as below (GPS/Device location is turned on in the device if captured as true and vise-versa if captured false)
If “IsGPSOn” is captured as true but the “GPSLocation-Geocordinate Accuracy” or “NetworkLocation-GeoCoordinate Accuracy” is more than 50 then the same is considered as GPS loss in the system.
