- Employees check in upon reaching a designated location using a mobile app or IVR system
- This is a preemptive workflow designed for planned trips, combining mobile app interactions with IVR-based fallback mechanisms to ensure safety.
1. Trip and Planned Sign-Off Visibility
- The employee's trip details, including vehicle allocation and planned drop-off time, are displayed on the app.
- The "Logout" button indicates the planned sign-off time
2. Notification for Safe Reach Confirmation
- After the planned sign-off time, a mobile notification is sent to the employee prompting them to confirm their safe arrival
3. Notification for Safe Reach Confirmation
- When the employee clicks on the notification, a pop-up appears asking them to confirm if they have reached their destination
4. Confirmation of Safe Reach
- Upon successful submission of the Employee ID, the system confirms that the Safe Reach Confirmation is complete
- Planned Drop Time + IVR Call Buffer:
If there is no response to the app notification, IVR calls are triggered during the planned drop time, with an additional buffer for handling delays. - 3 IVR Calls:
If the planned verification via app notification fails, three IVR calls are triggered as a fallback.
- Outcome:
Verification Success:
If a response is received at any stage, the trip is marked as successfully verified.
Failure:
If there is no response after all attempts, the trip is marked as Failed, and additional steps may be initiated to ensure manual success if feasible.
